Tony Malatesta, PGA Professional
A member of the Professional Golfers’ Association of America’s Quarter Century Club, Tony Malatesta has been in the golf industry for over 35 years. During that time, he has provided instruction to players of all skill levels and abilities from men’s and women’s Club Champions to women, men, seniors, and juniors just beginning their golf journey.
Tony’s teaching philosophy revolves around teaching the game of golf in a simple, effective, and fun manner. While basics like grip, stance, and posture are important fundamentals to all golf swings, Tony doesn’t employ a “one-size-fits-all” approach. He utilizes a combination of state-of-the-art video and launch monitor technology , along with verbal, visual, and kinesthetic techniques to help students grasp concepts and make changes more easily. In addition to teaching the mechanics of the golf swing, Tony emphasizes the importance of putting and chipping, and adds insight into other areas of the game such as course management, rules, etiquette, physical fitness, and club fitting. Tony offers individual, series, group, and playing lessons.
