Format
- The Flying Aces is an 18-Hole Men’s Golf League using Handicaps that plays on Thursday Mornings.
- All participants are required to have a current handicap. If the league member does not have a handicap, proof must be provided of a current, valid handicap held elsewhere. (Note: players without a current handicap will be assigned a temporary handicap to be reviewed on a weekly basis until a current handicap is established).
- Handicap fee through cdga.org is $50.
- League Participants may establish what tees they would like to play from (Birch or Willow) during registration.
Dates & Times
- The first play day will be Thursday, May 7th and the season will end Thursday, September 24th, 2026.
- Tee Times will begin at 8:00 am and run through approximately 9:00 am Thursday mornings
- League Kick-Off Meeting:Thurs., April 30th, 2026 at 9:00am in the Prairie Lodge Cedar Room.
Fees
- The League Entry Fee / Prize Fund is $75 per person.
- Handicap fee through cdga.org is $50.
- 100% of the $75 league prize fund will be awarded back to weekly event and hole contest winners on a Whisper Creek Gift Card at the end-of-season.
- The League will have online weekly sign-ups. If you cannot make a particular week, simply do not sign up for that week…no substitute players are required.
Weekly Events & Prizes
- The League Committee will determine weekly team events, pairings, tee times, and prize distribution.
- All weekly games will include prizes for hole contest winners and low individual net score.
- Pace of Play of 4 hours and 30 minutes for 18 holes will be enforced for this league. Groups unable to maintain pace will be subject to Pace of Play Policy Enforcement.
The $75 entry fee must be paid by cash or check. Please make checks payable to Whisper Creek. Also, please be sure to select which tee you’ll be playing from.
