Format
- The Birdie Bunch is a Wednesday Morning 9-Hole Women’s Golf League using handicaps.
- All participants are required to have a current handicap. If the league member does not have a handicap, proof must be provided of a current, valid handicap held elsewhere. (Note: players without a current handicap will be assigned a temporary handicap to be reviewed on a weekly basis until a current handicap is established).
- Handicap fee through cdga.org is $50.
- The Birdie Bunch will alternate nines each week and play from the Maple (Red) Tees
Date & Times
- The first play day will be Wednesday, May 6th and the season will end Wednesday, September 23rd, 2026.
- Tee Times for the Birdie Bunch will begin at approximately 8:00am and run through approximately 9:30am Wednesday mornings.
- League Kick-Off Meeting: Wed., April 29th, 2026 at 8:30am in the Prairie Lodge Birch Room.
Fees
- The total cost is $125 per person: $75 League Entry Fee + $50 CDGA Handicap Fee.
- 100% of the $75 entry fee will be awarded back to the weekly event and hole contest winners on a Whisper Creek Gift Card at the end of the season.
- The league will have online weekly sign-ups. If you can not make a particular week, simply do not sign up for that week…you will not be required to play. The deadline to sign up is 12pm on Saturday. Pairings to be posted on Sunday.
Weekly Events & Prizes
- The League Committee will determine weekly events, pairings, starting times, and prize dispersion.
- All weekly games will be team / individual events and include prizes for hole contests winners
- Pace of Play of 2 hours and 15 minutes for 9 holes will be enforced for this league. Groups unable to maintain pace will be subject to Pace of Play Policy Enforcement.
The $75 entry fee/no show fee must be paid by cash or check. Please make check payable to Whisper Creek Golf Club.
